What is Alter / Defect

The defect is an unintentional mistake that causes the garments to lose their acceptability or become unsuitable for sale. The defect is usually due to the unconsciousness of the operator. This may result in the product being rejected.

How many types of alter / defects and what are they?
Defects are mainly of three types.

Major
Minor and
Critical
Major
Major defect is a type of defect due to which there is a possibility of complaint or return of product from the buyer for defective garments. Major defects are usually visible. That is, when the buyer uses the product, the defect comes to his notice.

Minor
Minor defect is a type of garment defect which degrades the quality of the product / garments and thereby disrupts the customer’s satisfaction. Minor defects can also cause complaints or product returns from the buyer.

Critical
Critical defect is a kind of unacceptable error in garments. When the buyer uses the product, the defect is the defect that causes the buyer to have an accident or the buyer feels unsafe.

Critical defects can lead to complaints from buyers, product returns and even orders being closed.
